Andrew Tasker trained in Severn, completed Fellowships in Shoulder & Elbow surgery in Australia and Trauma in Oxford, before being appointed as a Consultant at Great Western Hospital in Swindon in 2014. His current practice includes the generality of trauma with a specialist interest in complex upper limb trauma and elective conditions.
He has a passion for medical education and an interest in the challenges of delivering effective surgical training in the modern NHS. He is a former departmental Medical Education Lead, Postgraduate Tutor for Severn T&O Registrar Teaching and currently Training Programme Director for T&O in Severn. He an European Trauma Course Instructor and faculty on FRCS (T&O) exam courses.
