Prevention and Management of Fragility Fractures Online Meeting
Global Fragility Fracture Network Meeting
In this Global Fragility Fracture event on 24-25 October 2020, we will discuss how best to rise to the challenge of fragility fractures, building on four pillars:
multidisciplinary co-management of the acute fracture episode, especially hip fractures
excellent rehabilitation to restore maximum function and quality of life
secondary prevention after every fragility fracture, addressing both osteoporosis and falls
multidisciplinary national alliances that can achieve necessary changes in healthcare policy
Registration is free and includes automatic membership of the Global Fragility Fracture Network (which is also free and carries no obligations). This will give you access to the resources of the Members’ Area, and result in you receiving newsletters and other communications from FFN (but from nobody else!). If you are already a member of Global FFN, don’t worry – you will not become a double member!
The meeting consists of four two-hour sessions in the mornings and afternoons of Saturday and Sunday. There is a long lunch break, in which there will be sponsored symposia and opportunities for delegates to network with colleagues or industry partners. The language of the meeting is English.

The FFN is a global organisation, which was founded in order to create a multidisciplinary network of experts for improving treatment and secondary prevention of fragility fractures. The FFN mission and vision underline this and are the foundation for all decisions taken. The FFN believes that useful policy change can only happen at a national level and multidisciplinary national coalitions are the most effective way to achieve this. Hence the FFN acts as a global template for creating national alliances in as many countries as possible.
