The Orthopaedic Trauma Society is a non-profit membership organisation that provides a forum for Orthopaedic Trauma surgery in the UK.
Who can join?
Membership of the OTS is open to UK based consultant orthopaedic surgeons and trainees who are specialising in orthopaedic surgery. There are four categories of membership of the OTS:

You will gain access to all areas of this website and the resources within it. This includes archived and historical information, the clinical library, Resource links, Fellowships links, and join the mailing list to receive the latest news updates directly unto your inbox.
Types of membership within the OTS;
Active Members
- Have applied for membership.
- Active surgeons at substantive Consultant status, or equivalent.
- Are eligible to vote at meetings and serve as officers.
Associate Members
- Have applied for membership.
- Are ineligible to act as officers of the Society.
Emeritus Members
- Previous Members retired from active practice who wish to remain members and ratified by the committee.
- Are eligible to vote at meeting and serve as officers.
- Will be required to pay attendance fees at events.
Honorary Members
- Anyone nominated by the membership to the committee prior to a General Meeting deemed meritous of honorary membership.
- Are ineligible to vote or serve as officers.
- Will be required to pay attendance fees at events.
